The full exterior detailing package provides you with a total transformation of your vehicle.
The vehicle is densely coated in a solution called "snow foam" which actively penetrates and breaks down all excess road grime salt and dirt, after ten minutes this is jetted off to allow the vehicle to be hand washed with a PH neutral shampoo and cleanser, using only lambswool wash mitts. These greatly reduce dragging on the paintwork and negate the possibility of further scratching.
It is worth noting that the wash stage normally takes over an hour as to guarantee the best possible canvas for any remedial correction work.
We then both go round the vehicle inspecting each and every panel thoroughly for scratches, blemishes, mark, webbing and holograms and then mark them down on one of our defect report sheets.
The vehicle is then taped up over each panel gap and any other sites (door handles, aerials, headlight surrounds etc) to prepare for machining, dependant on the car's general overall appearance this can vary on the ammount of time it takes to generate the desired finish, several layers of glaze and refining compounds are applied to the paint during this process.
Whilst we are correcting the paintwork we constantly use our micron particle and density meter programs coupled to a laptop to ensure that no more than the required level of alteration is carried out.
Only when we are happy with the appearance do we then apply 2-3 layers of your chosen or preferred wax to the surface to both seal the remedial work and finish off the paintwork. |
